Homoeopathy For All - November, 2001

Dear Readers,

In the light of recent research and findings on human genome, I would like to emphasise on the concept ofindividualisation as established by Samuel Hahnemann-the father of Homoeopathy.

"There are no two things alike in the universe. This is so of diseases and of sick people, of thousands of the same salt. No two starts are alike. When this thought presents itself to the mind ofthe physician, he can see that no remedy can be substituted for another."

Dr. James Tyler Kent, the famous homoeopathic physician and a pillar of homoeopathy explains this concept of individualisation so well.

This well known homoeopathic concept has now gained recognition amongst the modem physicians or so to say has been re-discovered by them. Homoeopathy seems to have been left behind in the research on genomeandgene therapy — where it is the mode of treatment that works on this concept and has performed miraculous cures using this principle. Why is it so? In this issue, we lay stress on the link between homoeopathy and gene therapy.

To the normal physiologic developments that take place in menarche, pregnancy, and menopause are added the stresses of combined family life and career. These in turn are exacerbated by longevity and the cultural nonris against aging, which have given rise to esthetic interventions that offer options as well as pose new threats, A review surveys dermatologic diseases of women throughout the life cycle, from infancy and childhood through the childbearing years to menopause and old age.

Thanking you
Dr. Nidhi Luthra
