Homoeopathy For All - June, 2002

Dear Readers,

The environment has been contaminated due to human violations of the laws of nature-damage is being done to the atmosphere, the water and the land. This contamination of the environment has resulted in an increased stress on the ability of an individual to function, leading to various disturbances in health of an individual.

The increased stresses associated with our environment have caused many people to feel run down or even ill for much of the time.

We can see in our own homes when our parents say that they were much healthier at our age then we are. This can be attributed to nothing else but changes in the environment leading to increased stress. People living in the cities like Delhi have decreased stamina due to the same factor-environment pollution. There is not a single human being who can be called healthy in the true sense.

Seeing, all this we need to make effort on saving our environment to make this earth a better place to live in we can do small things like not using plastic bags disposing our garbage in a proper manner and many more little things to save our environment. Worm composting is a way to dispose off garbage in a way to make the residue also useful. Neelam Misra, a biologist and an environmentalist writes on worm composting and how to make your own worm compost bin.

Another thing is the use of holistic treatment to treat oneself such as homoeopathy. There is a great role that homoeopathy can play in treating disorders and educating people on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the significance of self-healing capacity. The promotion of the homoeopathic philosophy is of vital importance, as we become aware of the increased significance of iatrogenic illness.

Prof. Dr. Diwan Harish Chand in his article on 'Environmental pollution and the role of homoeopaths' gives a description of various types of pollution and the role that homoeopathy can play in treating ailments caused by these various types of pollution.

Thanking you
Dr. Nidhi Luthra
