Role of placebo in homeopathic treatment

I homoeopathic graduate and started practicing recently. I just wanted to clarify a certain doubt about the use of placebo in homoeopathy. Is it always essential to use placebo in homoeopathic treatment? Can we not do without it?

The use of placebo is optional, depending on the physician’s skill and ability to deal with the patients. Placebos are required mostly so that the patients do not feel that they have hardly been given any medicine. For an informed patient it is possible to understand the theory of a single and minimum dose but fairly large number of patients are uninformed and lack the basic knowledge of homoeopathy, hence the use of placebos.
